grab. profile assets

Discord avatars, banners, and server icons.

Paste a user ID for a user, or an invite link or code for a server. The right lookup runs automatically.

Discord requires a numeric user ID, not a username. In Discord, turn on Settings → Advanced → Developer Mode, then right-click any user → Copy User ID.

Why no username lookup?

Discord removed public username-to-ID lookup in 2023 because it was being used for stalking and doxxing. The only stable way to identify a Discord user is their numeric ID. Turn on Developer Mode in Settings → Advanced, then right-click any user and pick Copy User ID.

Server icons don't have this restriction. Anyone with an invite link can see the server's name and icon on the join screen, so this tool just exposes the same thing at full size.

Questions

Can I look up a Discord user by their username?
No. Discord removed public username lookup in 2023 for Trust and Safety reasons (stalking, doxxing). The only way to look up a user is by their numeric ID, which you can get by right-clicking them in Discord with Developer Mode enabled.
How do I get a Discord user ID?
Open Discord, go to Settings, Advanced, and turn on Developer Mode. Then right-click any user and pick Copy User ID. The ID is a 17 to 20 digit number.
Do I need to be in a server to download its icon?
No. Any valid public invite link works, even if you're not a member.
What sizes do the images download at?
All images are requested at 4096px, the maximum Discord's CDN serves. Animated avatars and banners come through as .gif.
